Grace Chic didn’t begin as a business plan. It began with a miracle!
What you’re about to read, is the foundation of my why. A true story of survival, healing, and divine purpose. It is all the reason that I believe God’s Grace is life saving and transforming, which led to the establishment of the brand Grace Chic.
The Encounter of God’s Amazing Grace
“I shouldn’t be alive here today,” on December 6th, 2019, three weeks post-op surgery, I was taken to the ER and there I was given the diagnosis of three Pulmonary Embolisms (blood clots) in each lung-anyone of them could’ve caused a different outcome for me, but by the Grace of God I am alive and well.
Logically there is no explanation, nor medical reason for why or how I overcame the diagnosis, nor of how I overcame before the given healing process time frame. I remember the initial three days of back pressure, excruciating pain escalating into lack of use to my right arm. Yes, fear gripped me causing my days and nights to be filled with uncertainty of wondering if I was going to live.
I recall the encountering with God and Holy Spirit. One of the encounters that I had was about a few days after being home recovering from the surgery and I had a pocket booklet titled “God’s Creative Power for Healing” written by Charles Capps laying on my dresser, and Holy Spirit instructed me to read it and the book has daily healing confessions and scriptures pertaining to your blood cells, arteries and blood vessels that you are to read three times a day, just like taking prescribed medication and so I obeyed. I remember another encounter was that God and Holy Spirit had me to reenact Joshua 6:1-27, and if you’re familiar with the story of the Jericho Wall and its success of falling due to obedience of the strategic instructions that were given to Joshua and the Israelites. Well, I reread the story and followed the same strategic instructions marching around my very own living room and releasing a loud shout of VICTORY on my seventh round.
It was all God’s grace. Underserved. Unshakable. But sufficient and enough, that just not only kept me alive, but gave me a new perspective on life and an extraordinary encounter with God allowing me to experience Him personally as Jehovah Rapha (the Healer).
I would like to encourage you in that the same grace is available to you. You don’t have to experience my story to tap into your God-given Grace, He meets us in all areas and walks of life.
